These valve assemblies with pressure balancing valves (which integrate shut-off and venting functions) not only allow the pressure gauge to vent through one or both sides, but also allow the supply line to be emptied.

This pressure valve assembly is installed at the bottom of the differential pressure gauge, which can achieve pressure load balance between the positive and negative pressure sides, avoid unilateral overpressure load during instrument startup and operation, and also perform zero-point checks during instrument operation.

The safety type (code S3, conforming to EN837 standard) has the following characteristics:

1. An additional solid baffle is welded between the dial and the measuring system;

2. The back wall of the case can be completely separated;

3. The window is usually made of laminated safety glass. When pressure builds up inside the case (e.g., the Bourdon tube ruptures), the back wall of the case will detach under pressure and be completely released through the back wall. The pressure will not be released through the window, preventing personal injury from shattered glass.

In a diaphragm pressure gauge, pressure is transmitted through a waveform diaphragm to a link, which in turn transmits the pressure to the movement.

The dial displays the unit of measurement, accuracy class, serial number, manufacturing standard (the standard used to manufacture the measuring instrument), and the material names of all components that come into direct contact with the medium. On some Lele gauges, an "(S)" symbol can also be seen. This is the safety gauge symbol, protecting the operator in case of malfunction.

The accuracy class of a pressure gauge is the allowable deviation expressed as a percentage of the full scale value.

Vibration can cause permanent damage to the mechanical components of a pressure gauge, significantly shortening its lifespan. Filling the pressure gauge with fluid can cushion its internal mechanical parts and lubricate the moving components.

This phenomenon occurs when there is vibration or pulsation on the pressure gauge. Filling the pressure gauge with liquid can prevent this phenomenon and ensure accurate pressure readings.

Small-diameter diaphragms can only measure small volume changes. The larger the diaphragm diameter, the more effective the bias compensation.

This type of seal can be directly inserted into the medium, making it particularly suitable for non-uniform media. Compared to other diaphragm seals, this type of seal requires significantly less space and allows pressure to be determined "at a single point." The seal consists of an elliptical tube closed at one end, a pressure sensor, and fittings welded to the tube. To secure the seal, the sensor is mounted on an accessory, and the seal and measuring point are connected using both internal and external threads.
